15 things you don't know about Juliet Chase.

We get a quick peek into the brain of Dancing with the Stars pro and Leverage's Juliet Chase (24) and it runs the map from her iPod to a drawer full of take out menus.

    1. Alex (her older brother) is also my best friend in every sense, getting to dance on the show with him was just icing on the cake.
    2. My favorite Latin dance is the Jive, its pure fun.
    3. Before dancing I wanted to be a spy, blame James Bond movies! But I would love to play a Bond girl.
    4. My worst injury to date: brusied ribs from being dropped mid lift. My partner had the worst postnasal drip at the time so it was only an accident.
    5. I still complete on the swing dance circuit when I can.
    6. Guilty please: Spongebob Squarepants
    7. I can't sing but I love karaoke.
    8. My iPod has a playlist for everything.
    9. I can't cook, the drawer of menus is proof!
    10. I have a weakness for anything vampire related so being a part of True Blood was just awesome.
    11. My untapped talent: one liners. I let my most recent partner teach me a few during training sessions.
    12. I can speak near fluent Spanish.
    13. I'm a needle phobic so no tattoos but I have had fakes for fun in the past.
    14. I am open to the idea of ghosts, a few of us think one of the dressing rooms are haunted.
    15. I finally finished my undergrad degreee last year (History from NYU) but for now graduate school is on hold, but I'm taking classes online to stay sharp.

    Juliet Chase

Juliet Chase, currently a lead dancer with the Broadway run of Burn the Floor,
sits down for a quick Q&A with Playbill.com to give the short version of being a part of So You Think You Can Dance, her time with Burn the Floor and being a dancer on Broadway.

    Full given name:
    Juliet Ashely Chase

    Hometown:
    San Diego,Califorina

    Zodiac sign:
I always mix this up but I think Pisces?

    Audition Song:
It changes all the time! I can never pick just one.

    Special skills:
Besides dancing right? *said as she does the voice of Stewie from Family Guy* There's the voices and knowing way too much about the 80's according to some.

    First Broadway show:
Touring company of Cats, cliche I know but its a classic.

If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be?
Rent during its opening run by a landslide. Alex and I danced "Tango Maureen" as part of our SYTYCD audition so its a special one.

Current show you have been recommending to friends:
Its a family thing but I'm happily plugging Shrek!

    Favorite show tune:
Right now its a tie between "Freak Flag" from Shrek and "Hair" from Hair.

Most played song on your iPod:
Right now its "Full Moon" from the Twilight soundtrack.

One CD you couldn't live without:
Too many to pick just one!

    Last book you read:
    Vampire Diaries

Must-see TV shows: The fall run of So You Think You Can Dance, NCIS and The Mentalist.

    Last good movie you saw:
I Love You Man via dvd, so dumb yet a fun dumb.

    Celebrity Crush:
Michael Weatherly, its one of those I just can't explain.

    Pop culture guilty pleasures:
    Family Guy and Supernatural.

    Favorite post-show meal:
    A Bacon Cheeseburger with fries!

How you got your Equity card:
Dancing with Burn the Floor's touring troupe.

    Worst on stage moment:
During the SYTYCD tour when Alex and I slipped on the stage at the exact same time, total fluke but it does make for a great story.

How did producers at Burn the Floor find you:
Turns out the son of one of the producers follows So You Think You Can Dance. That lead to 4 of us from my season being asked to join the troupe. Most amazing 2 years of my life.

    Coolest moment to date:
Being asked to dance on Dancing with the Stars is high on the list since it shows I'm more than a ballroom dancer. That and people knowing SYTYCD at stage door, several have asked about Alex.

So what have you been doing since your time with Burn The Floor's touring company?: I went back to UCSD to finish my degree in history, it was something I promised myself I would do. But graduate school is on hold at least for now minus an online class when time allows.

    Role your dying to play:
Maureen in RENT and for TV I would love to be a guest on Supernatural. Dancing demons anyone?

Pre-show Ritual: Besides stretching I have to text my brother.

Why Should We See Burn the Floor: Because it shows that ballroom dancing can be very cool!

Juliet Chase is currently a lead dancer with the limited Broadway run of Burn the Floor and is scheduled to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars as a pro after the holidays.

Juliet Chase is not the typical Broadway dancer. Besides being fiesty and not scared to speak her mind she also came in 2nd on her season of SYTYCD, only losing to her older brother Alex.

But before Burn the Floor came along she was just your typical college student teaching swing dance on the side. It was when Alex decided to audition for the show and her tagging along as moral support/swing partner was when things changed. The show only kick started her desire to give the pro ranks one more shot and within weeks of the tour ending she was offered a spot in Burn The Floor's touring troupe, moving into the Broadway company a year and a half later.

Now alongside her junior year at NYU (history major) her life is dancing and she's the happiest she's been in ages. But one fear does linger: will people only see her for SYTYCD or for her true talent? That fear will be put to the test when Burn the Floor does eventual close but for the moment she's just living her dream.

Her personal life is another story: no boyfriend but a tight knit band of close friends (PB's in mind: anyone from DWTS) and a tight bond with Alex (PB: Benji Schwimmer). She'll come to the defense of any fellow dancer in need, especially if its within the little crew of dancers that have become her second family and blood family. Because in her eyes family and friends mean everything to her.

But beyond school and dancing she's a pretty normal young woman: loves to go out with her friends, shopping, a bit of tv, movies and even loves South Park.
